Jack from India, Jack from
an India voyage, he went to his
lodging where he used to abide.
“You are welcome home my boy,
you are welcome home” they
said. “Oh! what a trip you now
have made! With a very broken
voice Jack he then replied. “We’ve
met with bad misfortune and
my ship was lost at sea and
all our cargo on the sea was
lost. Call down your daughter
Polly and set her down by me
and drown out this melancholy
and merry we will be. My
daughter Polly’s buisy and
can’t come down to thee. But
Jack I can trust thee for two
more jugs or three. Jack being
weary he hang down his head
and he called for a candle to
light him to bed. The beds were
all full and had been all the
week and for another lodging jack had to go seek. He pulled out his hand
