This image shows one of the events held at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) during September 29 through October 3, 1957, as part of Religious Emphasis Week. Bishop George Henry can be seen speaking with a group of students in a classroom. During the week, Henry spoke with each individual class of students during afternoon meetings, followed by socials, band recitals, and discussions led by Henry, Reverend McMurray, and Reverend Hutchinson. The topic for discussion was "Are You A Hitch Hiker?" This image appears in the 1958 Rhododendron (p. 112).
