K - 12 Lesson Plans and Teacher's Guides

This section will provide materials for K-12 teachers modeled on the National Archives' Teaching with documents Exhibit that will allow teachers to incorporate our online images and materials into lesson plans, teacher’s guides that utilize our timelines and interactive campus map. These teacher’s guides will be aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. An example of the content for our teacher’s guides is study of early 20th century primary and secondary education in the Appalachian region using images and facts about Appalachian State University’s primary and high school demonstration schools.
