Early 2000s: Broome-Kirk Gymnasium demolished to make room for new Central Dining Hall.

2001: Holmes Convocation Center completed.

2002: New Chancellor’s Residence completed.

2002: Rivers Street Parking Deck completed.

2002: Living Learning Residence Hall completed.

2003: Living Learning Academic Building completed.

2003: Old 1963 Rankin Science Building demolished.

2003: Rankin Science North completed.

2003: Regional Chiller Building completed.*

2005: Belk Library and Information Commons completed.

2005: First Belk Library renamed Old Library Classroom Building.

2006: Whitener Hall demolished.

2007: Kerr Scott Hall renamed Katherine Harper Hall.
